rooomEXPO-X is an all-in-one solution for planning and implementing virtual and hybrid events in 3D, Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR). The multi-event platform combines virtual event spaces and 3D product presentations with management software for an easy implementation of online events.

Thanks to a modular concept, the DIY platform rooomEXPO-X can be used flexibly – for events of all kinds and in every industry. With just a few clicks, virtual trade fair presentations can be created with ease. All applications can be accessed by the user from various digital devices without much technical effort – directly in a web browser.


rooomEXPO-X does not ONLY offer digital exhibition space or ONLY the possibility for video chat, but combines all virtual networking features on a powerful multi-event platform in a realistic 3D environment. At the same time, the solution is easy to use and guarantees fast implementation times. The aim is not to digitally „recreate“ a real trade fair, but rather to create additional value in the virtual space. Organizers can put together an individual package from the various modules, specifically according to the requirements of their event. Individual exhibition booths or showrooms can also be booked in order to present them on a company’s website, for example. Thanks to a global server structure, the platform can also be used internationally. The databases are hosted exclusively in Germany.

The virtual lobby is the central point of contact. Visitors are welcomed by friendly avatars. From here, visitors can access the halls and find out more about the program and exhibitors at the info point.

Exhibition Hall

Participants can move around freely in the digital halls. Stages, booths and exhibits can be discovered in 3D, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality.

Exhibition Booths

The digital booths have approachable staff, flyers, brochures and posters – even screens for advertisement videos are available. Products can be integrated as 3D models and viewed in life-size via Augmented Reality (AR) projection.


Here you can find all sessions in chronological order. The sessions are assigned to several stages, which are differentiated by color. By clicking on the respective item, details about the session, the speakers or stored documents are displayed. Users can compile their individual event agenda or bookmark individual sessions.

Partner Overview

All exhibitors and partners are presented on an overview with search and filter function. On the detail pages you can find information about the company, how to contact them as well as their booth.

User Account

Every participant has the possibility to administrate his profile data and to set his own visibility. Depending on the user role and booked features, the user has various functions that are displayed in a dashboard (e. g. favorites, received business cards, chat history, calendar, profile visitors). The notification center informs about incoming contact requests.


Add-on Features


A digital showroom provides a virtual showcase for product presentation. With just one click, visitors immerse themselves in your company and brand world. All products and information are available for three-dimensional discovery – anytime and anywhere. Sounds and particularly detailed 3D displays create a special atmosphere.


Visitors are welcomed by personalized 3D avatars and invited to communicate. Participants can also configure their own live avatars to move through the site.

Streaming & On-Demand Video

Live streaming of the program and hosting of the recordings (linked to the individual sessions). Questions can be simply posted via live chat, so that an interactive exchange during the event is easily possible.

Speaker Overview

All speakers can be found in an overview with search function, including biographies, virtual business cards and assignment of sessions.


Different poll types can be created (single/multiple choice, word cloud) and used e.g. during a presentation to interact with the audience.

Multiuser Live Whiteboard

A collaborative online whiteboard that can be created and controlled directly by the speaker(s) of a session.


All participants who want to actively participate in networking are displayed in the networking area. The virtual business cards can be used to directly get in touch, e.g. via chat or video call. It is possible to select fields of interest and receive suggestions for matches.

Video Match

Random 1-to-1 video chat – participants are dynamically matched in time-limited video calls.


Job offers can be published by exhibitors and organizers and displayed on a separate overview as well as on the corresponding exhibitor profile.


Products are displayed in the corresponding exhibitor profile and in an overview of all products. If an exhibitor has booked 3D visualizations of products, these will be displayed on the respective product page.


News area/blog with articles and press releases incl. pictures and downloads.

Social Image Wall

Sharing of pictures or selfies by the users, incl. liking function.


Online games with high score can be integrated. Coin/search games or customized and fully branded solutions possible.


A personal agenda can be compiled via the calendar. In addition, appointments can be made for video or telephone calls with other participants. Each user can define time slots at which he or she is available for appointments. 


Automatic mailings or newsletters can be sent to the participants via the platform as well.

System Notifications

Send updates and messages directly to all participants or only to specific groups. The messages are displayed as a popup for everyone to see. This way, information, e.g. about program changes can be sent directly to the participants.


Integration of various ticketing and payment services as well as import from event databases possible.

Tracking & Reporting

Evaluation of visitor numbers, click rates, time spent, and much more. Exhibitors can receive reports and documents directly via the platform.

Support & Content Management

Individual services such as content and project management, exhibitor support, onboarding or video tutorials are available on request. A support chat can be set up during the event.
